On 25 January 1995, Eric Cantona was sent off at Selhurst Park for kicking out at Crystal Palace defender Richard Shaw. As he walked along the touchline, he leapt into the crowd and kung-fu kicked a Palace fan.

He was banned for eight months and never played for France again. It remains one of the most infamous moments in Premier League history.
