Lockyer, a product of the Queensland under age teams, played his first game for the Broncos in 1995 as an 18 year old debutant. It was in 2003 though where Lockyer enjoyed his most successful season. He led the Kangaroos, becoming only the fourth Queenslander to do so, and won the clubs player of the year award. In 2004, Lockyer demonstrated his all-round ability as he successful transitioned from fullback to five-eight. This is our tribute to one of Queensland's greatest.
