His 8 goals across the 1994/95 season helped steer the Blues towards Premier League safety and a famous triumph in the FA Cup. Ferguson was also known for his aggressive style of play, something that earned him the joint record for the most Premier League dismissals! But if you ask any Everton fan they'll tell you that was part of the package, and what made him such a fan favourite at Goodison.?After over 200 appearances for the Toffee's across two spells, Big Dunc hung up his boots in 2006. This is our tribute to a true Premier League icon.

The youngest player on the pitch that day was a certain Alan Ball Jr. After an impressive World Cup, Ball was transferred from Blackpool to Everton for ?112,000, a then record fee paid to an English club. He scored on his debut for the Toffees in a 1-0 victory over Fulham, and later scored twice in a Merseyside victory over Bill Shankly's Liverpool. Alan Ball was instrumental as Everton won the First Division title in 1970. In 1971 Ball left for Arsenal having scored 79 times in 259 appearances for the Toffees. This is our tribute to one of the greatest ever players to play for Everton - and the first player to don a pair of white boots!
