United had won their previous 17 games against newly promoted clubs, so Burnley were going to need a moment of magic to get something from the game. Step forward Robbie Blake. Carefully watching the ball drop out of the air after a cross was cleared at the back post, Blake, hit an unstoppable volley into the top corner. Blake's winner gave Burnley a 1-0 opening day victory. This is our tribute to that memorable goal and a Turf Moor legend!
