After a scoreless first half, Italy opened the scoring in the 57th minute and doubled their lead not long after. The Italians worked the ball to defensive midfielder Marco Tardelli on the edge of the German 18 yard box. He appears to loose control with his first touch, but then unleashes a left footed shot into the corner of the net. If the goal was good, the celebration was even better. And perhaps more famous than the goal itself! Tardelli runs towards the touchline, waving his arms and screaming with elation. Italy would go on to win the game 3-1 and secure their third World Cup. This is our tribute to one of the most iconic World Cup celebrations.
