His formidable partnerships with strike partner Chris Sutton was the foundation for the title challenge as Kenny Daglish's side saw off the challenge from Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United. Rovers would win the title on the final day of the season despite a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool. Shearer scored 112 goals for Blackburn in four seasons at Ewood Park before his transfer to boyhood club Newcastle was completed before the 1996/97 season. This is our tribute to S.a.S, one of the Premier League's greatest strike partnerships.
